Candidacy
For Toronto LASIK candidates, Dr. Chaim Goldberg starts with a comprehensive eye examination. Three factors determine whether you are a suitable candidate:
- your current corrective prescription must be stable and within the operable range,
- you must be in good general health and free of eye disease, and
- you must be at least 18 years old.
It is very important that you meet these requirements for an ideal candidate. Quite simply, laser eye surgery works remarkably well for most people, but it isn't for everyone.
