Farsightedness/Hyperopia Lasik Surgery Procedures

Hyperopia, or farsightedness, occurs when the cornea is too flat in relation to the length of the eye. Light rays do not converge or focus by the time they reach the retina. This usually results in blurry or strained close vision, but sometimes affects distance vision as well.

Attempts to focus on objects that are close can result in headaches, eyestrain, and fatigue. Options to correct hyperopia include glasses, contact lenses or refractive surgery, all of which are available at the Goldberg Centre.

The excimer laser used by Dr. Chaim Goldberg, VISX S4 is the most proven laser to treat hyperopia successfully using advanced technology of”Iris Regulation” and”Eye Tracking”.

We invite you to book a free consultation at our Toronto clinic to discuss your vision correction options.
